Description
Internal Medicine Division: Rheumatology
The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks faculty members to join the Division Rheumatology. This position is Open Rank and Clinician Educator Track. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and education. Minimum Qualifications: a) Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine; b) Must be Board Certified / Board eligible in Rheumatology within 6 months of hire; c) Successful completion of a Rheumatology Fellowship Program; d) Must be eligible to work in US; e) Must be eligible for a medical license in the state of New Mexico. Preferred Qualifications: a) Evidence of Clinical Experience/interest in clinical service; b) Experience/interest in education; c) Evidence of Rheumatology publications; d) Demonstration of excellent teaching ability; e) experience or recognition of the Rheumatologic needs of the diverse State of New Mexico and the rural Southwest; f) Evidence of experience of research in Rheumatology; g) A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities. This position may be subject to a criminal records screening in accordance with New Mexico law.
