Position Details: Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (on-site, outpatient only); Friday, remote half-day (coverage only, no direct patient care)
Position Summary:
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work as an integral member of our rheumatology healthcare team, delivering high-quality, cost-effective care within the APP's scope of practice. The APP will collaborate with supervising physicians and adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, reflecting the vision and values of our practice.

Compensation: Highly competitive base salary ( not based on RVUs) with potential of bonus

Education:
Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program. ( NP or PA program)
Licensure/Certification:
Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina.
Board certified.
DEA license required.
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a non-surgical specialty is preferred. Prior experience in rheumatology, immunology, Family practice ,sports medicine, or oncology is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong clinical competency and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in EMR documentation.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
Obtain relevant medical histories and perform thorough physical assessments during patient visits.
Develop differential diagnoses and implement evidence-based treatment plans in accordance with rheumatology guidelines.
Prescribe and order appropriate treatments and medications.
Perform medical procedures as appropriate to the role and in line with organizational guidelines.
Educate patients and families about rheumatological conditions, treatment options, and follow-up care.
Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure continuity and efficiency of care.
Participate in self-learning and professional development.
Interact respectfully and courteously with patients, families, and colleagues.
Demonstrate accountability for the outcomes of your work.
Ensure timely completion of tasks.
Quality Improvement
Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with supervising physicians and management in problem-solving and decision-making.
