Compensation $165,000 - $180,000 annually

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in Endocrinology to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, including experience with complex patient assessments, medication management, and advanced procedures related to endocrine conditions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, obtaining detailed medical histories, performing focused physical exams, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as hormone panels, metabolic labs, thyroid imaging, and glucose monitoring data.
Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans for conditions including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary dysfunction, osteoporosis, and other hormonal imbalances.
Prescribe and manage medications, titrating insulin and other endocrine therapies, and providing patient education on lifestyle modifications, disease management, and medication adherence.
Collaborate closely with endocrinologists, primary care providers, dietitians, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.

Skills:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York
Valid DEA license (or willingness to obtain one)
Fluency in Spanish
Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills, particularly in interpreting complex lab results and identifying subtle endocrine abnormalities.
Proficiency in managing chronic conditions—especially diabetes—is essential, including familiarity with insulin regimens, GLP1 therapies, SGLT2 inhibitors, and advanced diabetes technologies.
Collaboration and interdisciplinary teamwork as endocrinology care often intersects with cardiology, nephrology, primary care, and nutrition services.
