Outpatient Psychiatry Leadership | Autism Services | Academic Psychiatry

The Institute of Living (IOL), Hartford HealthCare's internationally recognized behavioral health network, is seeking a Lead Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide clinical and administrative leadership for its comprehensive ambulatory psychiatry services.
This role includes direct patient care and program oversight across:
- General Outpatient Psychiatry (preschool through age 25)
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
- Mary W. Parker Autism Center
Candidates with expertise or a special interest in autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, pediatric psychopharmacology, and family-centered care are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
- Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
- Collaborate with psychology, social work, family therapy, speech therapy, and case management teams.
- Support program development, quality initiatives, and clinical operations.
- Participate in statewide psychiatric consultation services.
- Inpatient call opportunities available.
Academic opportunity:

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligibility)
Preferred:
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric care and clinical leadership
- Expertise in psychopharmacology and evidence-based treatment
- Broad experience in day-to-day operations of a comprehensive ambulatory program
- Administrative leadership skills
