Locums Rheumatology Physician near Boston, Massachusetts - Outpatient Focus, Long Term

Provide full-time in-person rheumatology care with variable clinic sessions and an established physician group in the Cambridge area.

Highlights

• Approximately 24-week assignment with extension potential
• Variable morning or afternoon clinic sessions
• Approximately 18 patients per day

Practice & Cases

• Outpatient general rheumatology with no acute case focus
• Two rheumatologists onsite
• More than 10 orthopedic providers onsite
• No advanced practice provider coverage

Schedule

• Monday through Friday clinic coverage
• Six clinic shifts per week
• Four-hour patient-facing sessions
• Rotating evening and one-in-three weekend call

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board certification in Rheumatology required
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• BLS and DEA required
