Position Summary
Waco Rheumatology is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Rheumatologist to join our well-established, physician-led private practice that has been serving Waco and the surrounding communities for over 30 years. This is an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive outpatient rheumatology in a supportive and collaborative environment with strong clinical and operational resources. Because we serve a large catchment area, providers have the unique opportunity to diagnose and treat the full breadth of rheumatologic diseases, caring for a diverse patient population and complex conditions
Our clinic provides high-quality, patient-centered care with a full range of on-site services including infusion therapy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, DXA scanning, laboratory services, and nurse education visits. Providers enjoy a balanced schedule, autonomy in practice, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on quality patient outcomes
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging results
- Manage biologic and infusion therapies as appropriate
- Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care and education
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Foster positive patient relationships and provide compassionate care
- Participate in practice growth and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
- Eligible for unrestricted Texas medical license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- New graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply
