Rheumatology Physician Opportunity
Deaconess Health System | Evansville, Indiana & Henderson, Kentucky
Deaconess Health System is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join our growing Rheumatology team in Evansville, Indiana, and Henderson, Kentucky. A Practice Designed to Support Rheumatologists
At Deaconess, our Rheumatologists have access to a dedicated team and resources designed to allow you to focus on what matters most — caring for your patients.
You will have the support of:
-An embedded clinical pharmacist to assist with medication management and complex therapies
-Dedicated referral and prior authorization support staff to help manage the administrative work associated with specialty care
-A robust Infusion Center providing convenient access to infusion therapies for appropriate patients
-Experienced clinical support staff and advanced practice provider resources
-A strong referral network from primary care and specialty physicians throughout the region
-An integrated Epic electronic medical record across the Deaconess Health System
Opportunity Highlights

Primarily outpatient practice
Collaborative relationship with primary care and other specialists
Excellent clinical and administrative support
Minimal call responsibilities with phone-only coverage
Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
36 hours of patient care time with dedicated administrative time
No routine inpatient rounding requirement
Fully integrated Epic EMR
Compensation & Benefits
Deaconess offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
$325,000 first-year guaranteed salary
$50,000 sign-on bonus
